BEEAH

Beeah (stylized BEEAH) is a Sharjah-based sustainability and technology group founded in 2007 by decree of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi. Originally focused on environmental and waste management, it has grown into a diversified conglomerate spanning five pillars (Environment, Energy, Technology, Healthcare, and Real Estate) with over 13,000 employees across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The company is known for its sustainability-first approach and digitalization. Its new headquarters – a Zaha Hadid–designed, LEED Platinum-certified building – sets a global benchmark for green construction.

Beeah’s first major real estate development is Khalid Bin Sultan City in Sharjah, a 1,500-unit “climate-smart, net-zero-ready” mixed-use community masterplanned by Zaha Hadid Architects. This project leverages Beeah’s expertise in environmental innovation: as the CEO notes, “smart technology and sustainability aren’t added features, but embedded essentials” in the design. In addition to its own projects (like the award-winning HQ and the Khalid Bin Sultan City), Beeah plays a strategic role in regional urban planning (e.g. waste management services in Saudi Arabia and Egypt).

The group also partners on high-profile projects like the Jawaher Boston Medical District hospital, further broadening its impact.
